The JGP Studios logo is shaped like a comic book word balloon for two reasons. The first, and most obvious, is because of my love of both reading and creating comics. The second reason is that art, especially commercial art and graphic design, is intended to be used for communication, which the word balloon is intended to symbolize. The “JGP” in JGP Studios are my initials. The “G” is given special emphasis in the logo because I am among the 4% of Americans that goes by their middle name.
It is only intended to be in black and white, either white with black lines as it was originally created, or inverted with a black balloon and white lines depending on the art the logo is attached to.
The “JGP” lettering is hand drawn. The “studio” is Badaboom and the web site URL is in Adam Warren Pro, both of which were found on www.dafont.com. Neither the “JGP” nor “studio” are to be removed from the logo. The website URL must be removed from the logo if the document the logo is attached to also contains the same URL, in order to avoid redundancy. If the URL is not present anywhere on the document, it must be included on the logo.
There are no specific size or space requirements for the logo. The whole logo must be visible, and can take up no more than 5% of whatever document it is on, with the sole exception of the official JGP Studio business card.
